(i) Tonight, Roy is opening for Chumbawumba at the City Varieties Theatre in Leeds. Roy was delighted to be invited to conribute to their new CD and to join them on this concert to their hometown audience.

(ii) Roy will be appearing as one the guests of David Ferrard at the Pleasance Cabaret Bar, The Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh on April 6th. Other artist include some of the musicians who have contributed to the CD including, from the USA, Josh Goforth, the respected and excellent fiddle and mandolin player who is currently touring with Laura Boosinger, who will also contribute to the concert. If you're in town that evening it will certainly be well worth a visit - and we think it's FREE! Check it out. Click on: David Ferrard

(iii) This is Roy's 50th year on the folk scene and so far he has been invited to 14 Festivals! There is talk of a special celebratory concert later in the year somewhere special - so watch this space!

(iv) Roy continues to work with Tony Benn and their much acclaimed programme 'The Writing in the Wall' will be performed at Beverley and Wickham Folk Festivals and as part of Liverpool's European City of Culture at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in May.

(v) Roy is also touring with John Kirkpatrick in April. We're all looking forward to this. John is a great musician and performer and they have worked together over many years - since the early 1960's in fact.... be sure to catch them if they're in your area (see Concert Dates).
