Martin is married to Roy's daughter, Kit and has performed on many occasions with Roy, as well as featuring on his latest CD, "Sit Down & Sing". We're delighted to say that Martin has been nominated for Folk Singer of the Year, Best Album for 'Prodigal Son', Best Original Track for 'Never Any Good', Best Traditional Track for 'Andrew Lammie' and Best Musician - for the 6th year running! We're really delighted for him and wish him the best of luck for the Award's Ceremony in London on 4th Feb. Highlights of the night will be on the Mike Harding Show, BBC Radio 2 on 6th Feb. Martin has also been asked to appear on BBC TVs flagship music programme, 'Later With Jools' which will be broadcast on Friday 14th December on BBC 2. He'll perform the song 'Duncan & Brady' on the programme and will record a special version of 'Never Any Good' for their popular website. A great opportunity for Martin and great exposure for traditional music.
